Incorporating Powerizer Into Your Car Care Routine: Cleaning Floor Mats On The Go
Powerizer is proud to announce we are participating in the 3rd Annual Denver 7 and AAA Car Care Fair at Denver Premium Outlets in Thornton, CO on Saturday, October 12th from 8:30 to 1:00 PM. AAA members will receive a free 20-point vehicle inspection and only pay $5 for non-members. Powerizer's car care bay will help customers remove tough stains from carpet, upholstery, hood liners, and floor mats and shine your rims.
You are invited to witness the cleaning techniques our Powerizer renegades use to navigate through traffic spills, swerve around pothole blunders and detours from melted ice cream cones. Powerizer Complete is a revolutionary detergent and cleaner made from plant and mineral-based ingredients, with no fillers, no dies, and no harsh chemicals or overpowering scents. Drive your car into our bay and witness stains disappear right before your eyes, making it an added benefit to your car care checklist.
However, car care is a constant routine, considering it is the second location next to work where we spend the most time. Today we're going to give you a short glimpse of how effective Powerizer is for cleaning floor mats when your out and about and a spill happens. Now the only thing you need for your car is Powerizer, Powerizer to the rescue.
Let's walk through the steps of cleaning on the go,
The first step is to gather the best tools for cleaning your car floor mats. We find keeping these tools organized in your trunk at all times helps eliminate excuses for allowing stains to set in. PowerizerIt as soon as accident happen.
- Powerizer Complete
- Powerizer's Ultra Plush Microfiber cloths
- Squeeze Bottle with a breathable tip for making a pretreat.
- Hand dish scrubber or a nylon brush with stiff bristles (toothbrush)
- Small bucket for mixing detergent in water if necessary.
The second step is to make a pre-treat with a 16 oz Squeeze Bottle, using one (1) scoop of Powerizer Complete and lukewarm water if available. Shake and allow the granules to dissolve completely before use.
The third step is to vacuum the interior of the car paying particular attention to the floor mats.
The fourth step is to identify any stains that need to be pre-treat. Remove the mats from the car and place them on the ground, outside of the vehicle. Apply Powerizer using the squeeze bottle, make sure to saturate dried-on food or beverages. Allow the solution to sit a few minutes to begin to break down the dried-on food spills. Use the hand dish scrubber or any nylon brush to scrub stains found on the carpeted mats. For rubber mats, use the scrubber and the Microfiber cloth when desired. If possible, use a bucket to mix more solution if necessary. However, when doing this at the self-vacuum stations, there usually isn't water readily available. Instead, carry a few bottles of water to mix the solution in.
The fifth step is to wash the mats using the automatic car mat wash station. It sprays water onto the mats while pulling it through the rollers. The water isn't super high pressured, however, gets the job done. If you feel the detergent may not have rinsed from the mat thoroughly, brush the carpeted mat again and run it through the machine a few more times.
The sixth step is to rinse and dry the mats thoroughly in the machine. For rubber mats use your Powerizer Ultra Plush Microfiber Cloths to dry them thoroughly before replacing them inside your vehicle. For your carpeted mats, you will need to let them air dry thoroughly before placing them on the floor of your car. Instead, put them in the trunk and when you return home, place them on a drying rack inside the shower to air dry entirely or on the floor of your garage if weather permits place them over a chair to dry outside.
So as you can see, it's easy to maintain your vehicle when the proper tools are nearby. Now you can pre-treat and absorb spills in between washing your car. Lifting stains as soon as they happen will cut down on lingering odors such as coffee. As promised, when combining Powerizer Complete and Powerizer Microfiber Cloths for your car cleaning, an automobile detail shop stays tucked neatly in your trunk, eliminating the need to purchase paper towels, glass cleaner, dusting wipes, upholstery and carpet spot removal and odor neutralizing products.
