The third step is to vacuum the interior of the car paying particular attention to the floor mats.

The fourth step is to identify any stains that need to be pre-treat. Remove the mats from the car and place them on the ground, outside of the vehicle.  Apply Powerizer using the squeeze bottle, make sure to saturate dried-on food or beverages. Allow the solution to sit a few minutes to begin to break down the dried-on food spills. Use the hand dish scrubber or any nylon brush to scrub stains found on the carpeted mats. For rubber mats, use the scrubber and the Microfiber cloth when desired. If possible, use a bucket to mix more solution if necessary. However, when doing this at the self-vacuum stations,  there usually isn't water readily available. Instead, carry a few bottles of water to mix the solution in.

The fifth step is to wash the mats using the automatic car mat wash station. It sprays water onto the mats while pulling it through the rollers. The water isn't super high pressured, however, gets the job done. If you feel the detergent may not have rinsed from the mat thoroughly, brush the carpeted mat again and run it through the machine a few more times.

The sixth step is to rinse and dry the mats thoroughly in the machine. For rubber mats use your Powerizer Ultra Plush Microfiber Cloths to dry them thoroughly before replacing them inside your vehicle. For your carpeted mats, you will need to let them air dry thoroughly before placing them on the floor of your car. Instead, put them in the trunk and when you return home, place them on a drying rack inside the shower to air dry entirely or on the floor of your garage if weather permits place them over a chair to dry outside.

Lifting stains as soon as they happen will cut down on lingering odors such as coffee. As promised, when combining Powerizer Complete and Powerizer Microfiber Cloths for your car cleaning, an automobile detail shop stays tucked neatly in your trunk, eliminating the need to purchase paper towels, glass cleaner, dusting wipes, upholstery and carpet spot removal and odor neutralizing products.
